Leader Training up to Wood Badge level is provided mainly by Greater Manchester West Scout County. Occasionally specific courses are provided by Urmston and District or other Districts within the County.
Training is provided for:
District Commissioners
Assistant District Commissioners
District Section Leaders
Group Scout Leaders
Assistant Group Scout Leaders
Section Leaders
Assistant Section Leaders
Young Leaders
Section Assistants
Parent Helpers
District and Group Administrators
And special training courses can be provided to meet specific needs.
Depending upon the Appointment held, some training courses are mandatory and some are optional. Training fees are generally paid by the group/district.
In the list of courses that follows, items in red have been completed but have been left on the list as an indication of approximately when courses will be arranged for 2008. Obviously, the dates and venues are subject to alteration and will be updated when final information is to hand.
