The Centenary
As we start our second century of Scouting we look back with pleasure and satisfaction at all the special activities in 2007 and thank our founder Lord Baden-Powell for the foresight to create our movement which has stood the test of time and continues to be as relevant to the young people of today as it was in 1907. We can rejoice that we still provide meaningfull adventurous activities for young people with a training programme to give them a challenge and inspire them to grow up to be useful members of the society in which we live despite changing attitudes. We are proud to be the largest voluntary Youth organization in the Country and intend to continue for another 100 years.
