Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between eight and eight years six months.
Beaver Scouts meet on a Monday evening 5.15pm to 6.45pm at the Methodist Church rooms at Warburton Lane, Partington.
Girls can join any section.
Cub Scouts also get to
go on trips and days out
to places like the zoo,
theme parks or a farm.
Sometimes you will be
able to go camping with
the rest of the Pack. This means you sleeping
in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.
Cub Scouts meet on a Wednesday evening 6.30 pm
to 8 pm at the Scout headquarters in Moss View Road.
Cub Scouts move up to Scouts at age ten years
and six months for even more adventurous activities.
Scouts normally meet on a Friday night but currently are looking for a Leader.

Headquarters: “The Scout Hut”, Moss View Road, Partington
Location: On entering Partington along Manchester Road (from Carrington) the first road on the left after passing under the railway bridge is Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and continue to the end (approximately 450 Metres) then turn right onto Moss View Road. First Partington Scout Group’s Headquarters is on the right hand side approximately 250 metres from Broadway.
Section Meetings:
Beaver Scouts: Monday 5.15 to 6.45 PM.
Cub Scouts: Wednesday 6.30 to 8.00 PM.
Scouts: Friday 6.45 to 9.00 PM.
